A look back at 2022

2022 has been full of adventures, including new work, developing the dragon fruit den at home and reviving the dormant Green Farm 4 All. Starting with more time on my end, I started flying drones and becoming a 107 UAV pilot FAA certified. Why? Since I listened to a zoom meeting on sustainable vineyards and realized how large agricultural lands are, I told myself “We need to send a drone up in the air to capture how vast some of them are”. Little did I know I would fall into the rabbit hole of drones. First you need to know how it flies, you need to know where to fly, where not to (hint near airports, power lines, over people over moving cars, and so on). Then you start hoarding several drones.

Next was to find farmers nice enough to let me fly over their land. I collected two dragon fruit farms, one jujube farm, one regenerative steer farm and a vineyard. So much education to the public is needed to help understand where food comes from, what it takes to be organic, to get involved in regenerative farming, how to survive the current California drought, understanding the market, etc. And then it hit me, so welcome to the birth of Blue Dragon Drone and Photography Services with the motto “let me help you tell your story”. My services strive to help “those who grow food” tell their story to promote their businesses with entertaining imaging.

Green Farm 4 All stays dedicated to educating the public on growing food processes. I will continue small projects to create posts and YouTube videos to bring awareness to our potential fragile global food source.
